Tom's Guide measured 12 hours 2 minutes of web browsing over 5G, so battery life is adequate rather than a highlight. It is eSIM only. On 1 August 2026 the checked UK price was £799 for the 256GB version.

The A19 Pro chip has a 5-core graphics processor. Tom's Guide recorded Geekbench scores of 3,723 for a single core and 9,665 across all cores, which are numbers for comparing phones. In daily terms, apps open quickly, games run smoothly and photo editing is comfortable. The phone runs iOS 26. For calls, messages and maps, a cheaper phone will feel just as fast, so the chip matters most if you play games or edit photos.
Battery and charging
This is the trade-off for the thin body. Tom's Guide measured 12 hours 2 minutes of web surfing over 5G, and 17 hours 15 minutes when the phone was used with a MagSafe battery pack. After five hours of video streaming, 81% remained. Tom's Guide also found the phone charges to 55% in 30 minutes. Results vary with signal, settings and brightness, so heavy users should consider a battery pack.
Cameras, sound and SIM
There is one rear camera: a 48MP Fusion camera with 2x optical zoom, so no separate wide-view or telephoto lens. The front camera is 18MP with Center Stage, which helps keep you in frame on video calls. Tom's Guide notes a single speaker, where the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro have two, so music and video sound thinner. The Air is eSIM only, so check that your network supports it before you switch.
