What we cover
We cover phones and wearables, computing, audio, televisions and home cinema, smart-home products, gaming technology and useful accessories. We are particularly interested in products that solve an everyday problem, offer strong value or make technology easier to use.
What our testing focuses on
Our hands-on reviews look beyond the specification sheet. We consider setup, ease of use, everyday performance, accessibility, privacy, subscriptions, value for money, drawbacks and the type of person a product suits. We may also use a product in comparisons, buying guides, setup help and longer-term updates where appropriate.
Review units and loans
We accept gifted review samples, long-term loans and returnable press loans when the arrangement is agreed in advance. We are happy to return equipment after testing where required. Please tell us about return deadlines, courier arrangements or other practical conditions before a unit is sent.
Clear disclosure
When a manufacturer, retailer or PR agency supplies a product, we disclose who supplied it and whether it was gifted, loaned or returned. Supplying a product does not give the supplier editorial control.
Requesting a review
Please include the product name, exact model, UK availability, expected price, proposed loan or gifting arrangement and the date by which equipment must be returned. Product availability does not guarantee coverage, but we will consider whether it is useful and relevant to our audience.
