It uses LG's Alpha 11 AI Processor 4K Gen3, which handles upscaling and picture clean-up, adds Brightness Booster, and reaches up to 165Hz with VRR from a compatible PC. What Hi-Fi? found a bright, rich picture. The main thing to weigh is price, so compare final prices with rival OLED TVs before you buy.

The details, in plain English
Picture quality
The C6 keeps OLED's pixel-level contrast, so dark scenes stay dark while bright details stand out. It adds LG's Alpha 11 AI Processor 4K Gen3, which handles upscaling and picture clean-up, and Brightness Booster. Those should help older or lower-quality programmes and daytime impact, and What Hi-Fi? found a bright, rich picture. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, the HDR format used for some live broadcasts, which covers the important UK formats.
Gaming and motion
All four HDMI ports support 4K at 120Hz, so a PS5 or Xbox Series X gets its smoothest mode on any input. VRR (variable refresh rate), with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, stops tearing when frame rates dip, and ALLM switches to game mode automatically. A compatible gaming PC can reach 165Hz. LG quotes a response time under 0.1ms, so fast movement stays sharp. HGIG helps HDR games look as their makers intended.
Sound and connections
The built-in 40W 2.2-channel speakers support Dolby Atmos, but still fall short of the picture. eARC, on the HDMI connection, sends full-quality sound to a soundbar. It has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, so you can pair wireless headphones for late-night viewing. If you plan to add a soundbar with Dolby Atmos, connect it to the eARC port so the TV's other HDMI ports stay free for consoles and streaming boxes.
Living with it
At 45.1mm deep and 16.6kg without the stand, it works on a stand or wall. It runs LG's webOS 26 with the expected UK streaming services, and LG lists security updates until 31 December 2030. Prices change often, so compare final prices with rival OLED TVs before you buy.
