Connect a soundbar
Send the television's sound to a separate soundbar or home cinema system.
Use the pictures where shown. Follow the short instructions between them.
STEP 1 OF 8
Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 socket
Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 socket on the television (marked ARC/eARC) to the ARC or eARC socket on the soundbar.

STEP 1
Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 socket
Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 socket on the television (marked ARC/eARC) to the ARC or eARC socket on the soundbar.
STEP 2
Press the Home button on your remote
STEP 3
Select Settings
Select the Settings cog on the right of the Home screen.
STEP 4
Select Display & Audio
STEP 5
Select Audio Output
STEP 6
Select eARC
STEP 7
Select On
Select On if your soundbar supports eARC.
STEP 8
Play something and turn the volume up
Play something and turn the volume up. With HDMI-CEC on, the TV remote should control the soundbar's volume.
