Restart a frozen or slow TV
Restart the television without erasing your settings.
Use the pictures where shown. Follow the short instructions between them.

Press the Home button on your remote

Press the Home button on your remote

Select Settings
Select the Settings cog on the right of the Home screen.
STEP 3
Select Device & Software
STEP 4
Select Restart
STEP 5
Select Restart again to confirm
Select Restart again to confirm, then wait for the Home screen.
STEP 6
Hold the power button
If the TV is frozen, hold the power button on the TV itself for 15 seconds or more.
STEP 7
Switch the TV off at the wall
If that doesn't help, switch the TV off at the wall, wait 60 seconds, then switch it back on.

Your menus may look different after an update. Look for the same control name and take your time.
