Add an emergency contact
Choose somebody trusted who can be reached from the lock screen in an emergency.
Use the pictures where shown. Follow the short instructions between them.

Open Settings
Tap the grey Settings app with the cog.

Open Settings
Tap the grey Settings app with the cog.

Open Safety and emergency
Scroll down and tap Safety and emergency.
STEP 3
Open Emergency contacts
Tap Emergency contacts.
STEP 4
Tap Add member
STEP 5
Choose the person
Tap the trusted person in your Contacts list.
STEP 6
Tap Done
STEP 7
Show the contact on the lock screen
Turn on Show on Lock screen so the contact can be found without unlocking the phone.
Tell the person that you have added them as an emergency contact.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS DIFFERENT

Your menus may look different after an update. Look for the same control name and take your time.
