Share your mobile internet
Turn the phone into a personal Wi-Fi hotspot.
Use the pictures where shown. Follow the short instructions between them.

Open Quick settings
Swipe down from the top with two fingers.

Open Quick settings
Swipe down from the top with two fingers.

STEP 2
Open Settings
Tap the cog at the top right.
The Settings cog is beside the power symbol.
STEP 3
Open Connections
Tap Connections.
Connections is near the top of Settings.
STEP 4
Open hotspot settings
Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
Mobile Hotspot and Tethering is below Data usage.
STEP 5
Open Mobile Hotspot
Tap the words Mobile Hotspot to see its name and password.
The first row opens the hotspot details; the switch is separate on the right.
STEP 6
Check the password and switch on
Read your network name and password, then turn on the switch at the top.
This picture shows example credentials with Mobile Hotspot still Off. Use the credentials on your own phone.
STEP 7
If asked, turn Wi-Fi off
If this prompt appears, tap Turn off. The phone will share its mobile data instead.
This optional message asks to turn off Wi-Fi before starting the hotspot.
STEP 8
Connect the other device
On the other device, open Wi-Fi and join the network using the name and password shown on your phone.
The hotspot now says On. This confirms sharing is ready, not that another device has connected.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS DIFFERENT

Your menus may look different after an update. Look for the same control name and take your time.
I cannot find that option+
