Find a downloaded file

Open the Downloads folder and find the newest item.

Open File Explorer

Click the yellow folder on the taskbar, or press Windows and E together.

Open File Explorer

Click the yellow folder on the taskbar, or press Windows and E together.

STEP 2

Open Downloads

Choose Downloads in the left-hand list.

STEP 3

Select Sort

Select Sort at the top of the window.

STEP 4

Select Date modified

Select Date modified. The newest file is now easy to see.

STEP 5

Open it carefully

Double-click the expected file. Do not open a download you do not recognise.
