Connect to Wi-Fi
Join a home, work or public wireless network.
Use the pictures where shown. Follow the short instructions between them.
STEP 1 OF 5
Open the Wi-Fi menu
Click the Wi-Fi symbol in the menu bar at the top right of the screen.

STEP 1
Open the Wi-Fi menu
Click the Wi-Fi symbol in the menu bar at the top right of the screen.

STEP 2
Turn Wi-Fi on
If the Wi-Fi switch is off, click it to turn it on.
STEP 3
Select your network
Click your network's name.
Not listed? Click Other Networks to see more.
STEP 4
Join the network
If asked, type the network password and click Join.
Use the Wi-Fi password, which may be different from the password used to manage the router.
STEP 5
Check the connection
Open a web page. A public network may show its own sign-in page before it lets you browse.
