Connect a soundbar
Send the television's sound to a separate soundbar or home cinema system.
Use the pictures where shown. Follow the short instructions between them.
STEP 1 OF 8
Find the HDMI 2 socket
Find the HDMI 2 socket on the back of the television. This is the ARC/eARC socket.

STEP 1
Find the HDMI 2 socket
Find the HDMI 2 socket on the back of the television. This is the ARC/eARC socket.
STEP 2
Connect an HDMI cable between that socket and the ARC or eARC socket
Connect an HDMI cable between that socket and the ARC or eARC socket on the soundbar.
STEP 3
Press the Settings button on your remote
STEP 4
Select Sound
STEP 5
Select Sound Output
STEP 6
Select HDMI ARC
Choose HDMI ARC.
STEP 7
Check eARC is switched on
Check eARC is switched on if your soundbar supports eARC.
STEP 8
Play something and adjust the volume
Play something and adjust the volume with the TV remote. It should now control the soundbar.
