Use one remote for other devices
Let the TV remote also control a games console, soundbar or set-top box.

Make sure the device is connected
Make sure the device is connected with an HDMI cable. Use HDMI 2 for a soundbar.

STEP 1
Make sure the device is connected
Make sure the device is connected with an HDMI cable. Use HDMI 2 for a soundbar.

Press the Settings button on your remote
STEP 3
Select Devices
STEP 4
Select CEC
STEP 5
Set CEC to Enabled
STEP 6
Switch on HDMI-CEC in the connected device's own settings too
STEP 7
Turn on the connected device
Turn on the connected device and check the TV switches input automatically, then try the volume buttons on the TV remote.
