Connect to Wi-Fi and plug into power if the battery is low.

Open Settings
Tap the Settings app (the grey cog).
STEP 3
Tap System & updates
Scroll down and tap System & updates.
STEP 4
Open Software update
Select Software update.
STEP 5
Tap Check for updates
Tap Check for updates. If an update is found, follow the on-screen button to download it.
STEP 6
Install when ready
Follow the on-screen message. The device may restart, so save anything you are working on first.
