Share your mobile internet
Turn the phone into a personal Wi-Fi hotspot.

Check mobile data
Make sure mobile data is working. Sharing it uses your data allowance.

Check mobile data
Make sure mobile data is working. Sharing it uses your data allowance.
STEP 2
Open the quick settings
Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
STEP 3
Open Settings
Tap the Settings cog at the top of the panel.
STEP 4
Tap Mobile network
STEP 5
Tap Personal hotspot
STEP 6
Check the name and password
Under Hotspot settings, note the name and password. The other device needs them.
STEP 7
Turn it on
Tap the Personal hotspot switch so it turns blue.
STEP 8
Open Wi-Fi on the other device
On the other device, open its Wi-Fi settings.
STEP 9
Choose your hotspot
Select your phone's hotspot name in the Wi-Fi list.
STEP 10
Enter the password
Type the hotspot password shown on your phone, then connect.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS DIFFERENT
